Synopsis of Bad Girls

The story opens with Buffy and Faith fighting two vampires. Faith seems more concerned with asking her if She had ever had sex with Xander. After dusting the vamps , Buffy sees the footprints of another and they go of to find it continuing the Xander talk. As Buffy is trying to formulate a plan, Faith attacks the vamp and is thrown hard to the ground. The vamp has two swords and attacks Buffy chopping her stake in two. She disarms the vamp but he pins her against a tombstone and is trying to bite her as Faith stakes it from behind. They look for the weapons the vamp had but they are gone.
We cut to the mayor's office as he is laughing at reading a comic strip called the Family Circus. Mr. Trick puts the swords on his desk. The mayor says he hadn't seen any thing like the swords in a long time and Mr. Trick said he didn't know about them either. The mayor wants nothing to go wrong since his dedication ceremony is coming in a few days. A flunky (Alan)for the mayor suggests postponing the ceremony. Mr. Trick says the mayor hates that idea as the mayor gets up and says that the dedication is the last step before his ascension. He wipes his hands and Mr. Trick gives him one of the swords. The mayor tells Mr. Trick to keep an eye on these new guys and make sure that the slayers know their every move. With luck they will kill each other and everyone will be a winner meaning him.
The next day the gang is discussing going to college as Willow is being courted by all the big named schools. Xander is fretting that he won't get in anywhere. Buffy thinks going to college is a good idea for her and Oz suggest that she graduate first.
Cordy walks up and begins to insult Xander about planning his life as a loser. Xander says she won't need to go to college because she has a successful line of hooker wear. She retorts she could dress like him but her father has a job. (More about Xander's family. He must have shared a lot with her.) . Xander doesn't make a comeback quip and says he is saving it for later. Willow offers to help Buffy study for a Chemistry test as Buffy is about to go see Giles. Willow says that Giles wanted to see her.
The new watcher is with Giles telling him about how training is different for watchers and that he has killed 2 vampires under controlled conditions. Giles tells him he won't find controlled conditions here.
Buffy walks in on Giles and the new watcher, Wesley Windham-Pryce. Buffy asks immediately "New Watcher?" He extends his hand and she refuses and goes near Giles. She asks "Is he evil?" referring to MS. Post. He assures her that Giles has researched him thoroughly and that it is good she is paying attention to detail. "A good slayer is a cautious Slayer " he says as Buffy asks again "Is he evil?". Wesley ask for details of the hunt last night Buffy grudgingly tell him, with prodding from Giles, about the vamp with the jeweled swords. This rings a bell for Wesley and Giles as Wesley finds a reference to a group called IL Illuminati [sp.?]. This is a cult of dueling vamps that protects a demon called Balthazar [sp.?]whom Wesley thinks is dead and that they are few in numbers. He believes they are after an amulet that Balthazar had. He knows of a crypt where the amulet is entombed and wants Buffy to go "fetch" it. She gives him a nasty look and he asks if she is not used to being given orders. She says Giles always says please and afterwards she gets a cookie. As he starts to say that he and Buffy are getting off on the wrong foot, Faith walks in and says "New Watcher?" They say yes. Faith says "Screw that!" and walks out.
Buffy goes after Faith and she basically says that she doesn't want this new guy spoiling her fun. They are the chosen two and they can do anything they want. About getting the amulet, Faith tells her to do the homework and she'll copy it and then leaves the school.
Later that night Buffy goes to the crypt to get the amulet and sees it after opening the second tomb. She then hears a group of vamps and decides to jump in the first tomb and close the lid leaving the other open with the amulet showing. The vamps find the amulet and leave. Buffy emerges from the tomb and is surprised by Faith. Buffy tells her that there were six vamps and she didn't like the odds. Faith wants to head after them. They see the vamps jump down a manhole. Buffy wants to plan the attack. Faith decides on her own to go after them and says to Buffy if she doesn't help, she might die. Buffy feeling guilty, follows her down into the sewers.
Giles and Wesley are going over some of Giles' early notes on Buffy He says it will make fascinating reading. Giles is worried that Buffy wasn't back yet. Wesley says his mission scenario has her back in one minute.
Buffy and Faith are in a fierce battle with the six vamps they are really in trouble. She throws her stake to kill a vamp that had Faith pinned to the wall. They exchange a look and Buffy is back at battle. She is grabbed from behind and another vamp is holding a sword on her. He says let's end this honorably. She kicks the sword , flips the vamp behind her but the second vamp uses his second sword and grabs her in an awkward position as she dodges the second sword's thrust. He then says, let's just settle this and proceeds to drown her in a nearby pool of sewer water. Faith screams and tries to help but is again pinned against the wall by another other vamps. Buffy struggles, but soon stops. The vamp lets go of her limp body and turns to the trapped Faith. But Buffy was faking and grabbed the first sword that she kicked, from the pool. She quips," I hate it when they drown me", and the battle continues. Faith frees herself and flips the other vamp. Buffy is out-dueling the other vamp. She disarms him. Faith now wants to leave before others come but Buffy now wants to get the amulet. She uses the Sword to get it from the vamp and she takes it back to Wesley.
At the library the next day she is explaining to Wesley that there are more of these vamps than he thought. He gives here a stupid speech about a slayer being prepared for anything. Giles asks if she is ok. As she is leaving for her chemistry test, she tells Giles she wants to talk to him later. Wesley says that he is her watcher and anything she needs to discuss about slayer will be done with him. She again tells Gilles she will talk to him later. Wesley is upset that Giles isn't helping him with Buffy.
In chemistry class, Buffy is trying to tell Xander and Willow about last nights' activities. They are more concerned that she didn't show up for study time the night before. The teacher reminds them that the test is on the honor system (she will be out of the class) and not to talk to anyone else. When she leaves Buffy tries to continue to talk about last night while the others want to do the test. Buffy notices that every time she says Faith's name Xander's eye twitches. He says it's the caffeine from studying last night. At that moment Faith appears outside the classroom window. She breathes on the window, draws a little heart and stakes it so Buffy can see. She tells Buffy that she has found of nest of these vamps and let's go get them now. Buffy ditches the test and goes slaying with Faith.
They smash through the door of a building. The sunlight ignites a vamp. They scatter. The girls draw their stakes and go a-slaying.(They didn't show the fighting.)
Cut to the Bronze that evening and Buffy and Faith are partying their butts off. All the guys seem to be around these two. Angel walks in looking for Buffy. He sees her and starts to leave. She sees him and goes through the crowd and jumps on him. He tells her that Balthazar is not dead but alive and in Sunnydale. The must hide the amulet from Balthazar. She is all over him. He seems to be the one with more restraint now. At that moment Wesley finds Buffy and says if she is going out slaying that she needs to leave him a number where he can contact her. Angel asks Wesley where is the amulet. Wesley asks who Angel is. Buffy says he is a friend. Wesley says the amulet is someplace safe. Buffy sees it in his coat and gives it to Angel. Angel says he will put it someplace safe. He kisses Buffy goodbye and leaves. Buffy goes back partying and Wesley is bewildered because he still thinks Balthazar is dead.
We cut to a warehouse where Balthazar is. It is a big fat- blob -Jabba-the-Hut looking thing. It is screaming at the vamps that it wants its' amulet. It levitates a vamp to it belly and looks like it sucks off its head. It asks another vamp to come closer to it. It tells the other vamp of a plan it has and sends the vamps on a mission.
Buffy and Faith go to the warehouse and see the demon and they vamps. They decide to get more firepower. Faith breaks into what looks like a sporting goods store and they start taking crossbows, tent stakes, etc. They must have tripped an alarm because the cops walk in a arrest them.
They are cuffed and taken away in a squad car. Faith seemed to like the idea of being cuffed. As they are in the car the cops ask if they were in a girl gang. Faith said they were with the slayers. She then whispers to Buffy that they need to get out . Buffy is hesitant until Faith says you can save the world in jail. The both crouch down in the back seat and jam the grate forward into the driver and the other cop. The car wrecks and the slayers escape.
The next day Buffy is reading the paper looking to see what happened to the cops. She finds nothing as Joyce is talking about going off a diet.
The mayor is taking pictures with boy scouts and commenting that those little guys are the backbone of America and how it makes you just want to eat them up. He closes the blinds after they leave and Mr. Trick walks in. Thee mayor ask if he had any info on the Illuminate as he is opening his liquor cabinet. One of the vamps is inside and attacks the mayor. He is about to stab the mayor when Mr. Trick smashes him over the head. Mr. Trick said that if he had an Uzi it would have been all over instead of using a sword. After the mayor berates his flunky Alan about security, they imprison the vamp.
The demon is upset that the vamp he sent failed. He says that it had been 100 years since his enemy crippled him (The Mayor?) and now ultimate power is within his enemy's grasp. He says to them to forget honor. Kill everyone and everything but get his amulet.
Willow is talking to Buffy about a protection spell she did. The bag has a pleasant scent. Willow remarks that she will be the first Wicca to do spells in pine scent. She wants to come help with the slayage but Buffy says she doesn't want to risk her being hurt. Willow is disappointed as Faith comes in to get Buffy and they go off to get the demon.
On the hunt we see that Faith has gone back and gotten a long bow from the sporting goods shop. They are attacked by vamps.
Back at the library Wesley and Giles are discussing his attachment to Buffy. He says that Giles has done well but that it was time for someone else to take over in the field. Giles says now would be a good time to start as he see muchco many vamps waiting for them.
Buffy and Faith are fighting their way to the warehouse as vamps keep jumping from the dark to attack them. Buffy grabs what she thought was a vamp, throws him to the ground and yells to Faith not to stake him. It is too late. She plunges the stake into the suited man's chest. He doesn't go poof. It is the mayor's flunky Alan. No doubt he was sent to watch the slayers and grabbed the swords earlier.
Buffy wants to call 911. Faiths wants to get out of there. Alan dies in front of them trying to say something. The camera pans down to his chest. There is something there. I can't make out what it is.
They leave the body and split up. Buffy runs into Angel and he says he was waiting for her at the warehouse. He tells her they have Giles. They go off to fight Balthazar.
Faith doubles back to the body of Alan. She looks at it and starts to touch it and looks like she is about to cry.
At the warehouse Giles and Wesley are being told they will be tortured until they tell the demon where the amulet is. Wesley is about to pee in his pants. He wants to trade the amulet for their lives. Balthazar says no and says to tear off his kneecaps. Wesley yells that the slayer gave the amulet to a tall dark man whose name he did not get. Giles ask the demon to le Capt. Courageous " go and he will tell everything. The demon says they will either die fast or slow. All he wanted was the name of the man who has his amulet.
Angel says, 'His name is Angel", and he and Buffy attack the vamp henchmen. Buffy cuts Giles' bonds he unties Wesley as Balthazar keeps yelling "Unacceptable!" . Giles and Wesley are attacked and Giles disarms the vamp and starts a sword fight with another. Wesley is grabbed by a vamp as Giles kicks another to the floor. Giles yells at Wesley to duck as he beheads the vamp. Buffy and Angel are kicking the crap out of the demon's vamps. Balthazar is now fuming and levitates Angel to his big gut and grabs his head. Buffy sees a light fixture above Balthazars' tub. She cuts the fixture and electrocutes the demon that releases Angel when the shocking occurs. Before the demon finally dies he tell them that when "He" rises you will wish I had killed you all. They don't seem to grasp that there is a bigger evil out there.
Back at the mayor's office inside a pentagram. Mr. Trick is there with the captured vamp in a cage. The mayor is doing some sort of ritual and chanting in some language[Latin maybe?]. The room shakes. The mayor is mystified that Alan wasn't at the ritual. He tells Mr. Trick to release the vamp but not before giving it a sword. The vamp leaps out and splits the mayors' head apart but he pulls himself back together like the T2000 in Terminator 2. Mr. Trick stakes the vamp from behind. The mayor is now invincible (on his list of things to do that day along with a PTA meeting.)
Later Buffy goes to see Faith to talk to her about killing Alan. Faith's reaction is that she doesn't care that she killed him.
The end
I was shocked that at the end Faith when seemed like killing Alan was no big deal. Could it be that she has already made a deal with the mayor and has framed Buffy. Has she turned evil?
This new watcher will definitely die if he is this inept at fighting. And he would have given up Angel if he knew his name. He has to go and go soon.
Can't wait to see what happens next week.
