Cool trivia from Entertainment Weekly: Joss Whedon wrote the music and lyrics himself with no collaborators, despite possessing only a tenuous grip on music composition and having learned to play a piano a few years ago. UPN let the episode run almost eight minutes longer than a regular episode for its first run.
